These terms cover accounts on this site and purchases of Roll Authority early access from Evora Development Studios (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to them.
What you are buying
An early access purchase ($19.95) buys one Steam key for Roll Authority early access. The key is reserved on your account when your payment clears and delivered - shown on your account and emailed to you - once Steam issues keys to us, which happens before early access opens. We cannot promise a delivery date. Activating the key needs a Steam account and is subject to the Steam Subscriber Agreement.
Early access includes every early access update and the full game at release. When the game leaves early access, its price rises to $39.95; you will not be asked to pay again.
Early access is unfinished
You are buying a game in development. Features, content and the roadmap may change, and the game may contain bugs. The roadmap describes our plans, not a guarantee.
Extra contributions
Anything you pay above the early access price, and any contribution after it, is a voluntary contribution to the game's development. It does not buy a share, a stake or any right in the game or the studio.
Contributions earn ranks - roles on the Roll Authority Discord and a place on the public manifest - as thanks. Ranks are recognition, not something you buy, and we may change them. Any further supporter rewards will count contributions made now.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax. Early access purchases are processed by Stripe through Link, which acts as the reseller for the sale: it charges you, adds any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live, and pays that tax to the right authority. Its terms, shown at checkout, apply to the payment; these terms apply to the game and your key. Your bank may add currency conversion fees.
Refunds
See the refund policy. In short: until your key is delivered, you can have a full refund for any reason. If we ever cannot deliver keys, every reservation is refunded in full.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens on your account. We may suspend an account used for fraud, for payment disputes made in bad faith, or to resell keys.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms; the version in force when you made a purchase applies to that purchase.
